Dynamite presenta: Turok #1

Ron Marz e Roberto Castro sono pronti a far tornare Turok a far cacciare dinosauri nella nuova serie targata Dynamite.

Queste le dichiarazioni di Marz riguardo la serie Turok #1

“I wanted to build my Turok story by going back to the original version, not so much in terms of the specifics, but in terms of the spirit. We’re not imitating anything that’s come before, but we’re definitely trying to capture the feel of what made those stories cool. So we have a Native American and his brother, we have a lost land inhabited by dinosaurs and other time-lost denizens. But this is not a specific Turok we have seen before, because we’re setting this in the 1880s, in the waning days of the Indian Wars in the Old West. What we’re doing is a ground-floor read, and to a certain extent, a new beginning. I wanted the story and the concept to be completely accessible for new readers. At the same time, we’re not putting the lie to any previous iterations of Turok. I don’t want to say much more than that, because it’s one of the plot points that the story hinges upon. But stick with us and see. We’ve got some pretty cool revelations in store.”

La nuova serie di Turok è pronta a fare il suo debutto negli USA a partire da Gennaio 2019.
